Obituary of Yvonne M. Cottenmyre

            Yvonne Marie Cottenmyre, the daughter of Robert Edwin Cottenmyre and Phillis Marie (Beeson) Cottenmyre Bottger, was born January 24, 1965 in San Diego, California and passed away on December 16, 2024 at the Belleville Health Care Center at the age of 59 after battling ALS.

            Yvonne graduated from Belleville High School in 1983.     She worked at the Bel Villa Restaurant and later at Lambriars.    Yvonne then worked in housekeeping at the Belleville Health Care Center and assisted at the It Don’t Matter Bar & Grill in Narka, Kansas.

            Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cottenmyre & Phillis Cottenmyre Bottger; Step-father, Robert “Bob” Bottger; son, Christopher Cottenmyre; daughter, Raelene Henderson; and brother, Robert W. Cottenmyre.

            She is survived by her children:  Micheal Lewis of Kansas, Brent Lewis (Katlyn Wyant) of Troy Missouri and their children,  Hinata and Jax; and grandchildren,  Trenton Zenger, Elora Henderson, and Brock Henderson;  Sisters:  Teresa Manus of Jewell, Kansas, Karen (Shawn) Woolsey, and Jennifer Rolle of Belleville, KS;  brothers:  Mike (Stacie) Cottenmyre and Barry Bottger all of Belleville, KS; other relatives and friends. 

            Cremation was selected and family services will be held at a later date.

            A book signing for friends will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 1 PM until 5 PM at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.
