Obituary of Wilma A. Janousek

            Wilma A. Janousek, the daughter of William Kasl and Anna (Cherney) Kasl, was born December 15, 1932 in Wayne, Kansas and passed away on April 1, 2020 at the Salina Presbyterian Manor, Salina, Kansas at the age of 87 years, 3 months, and 16 days.

            Wilma grew up in the Cuba, Kansas area and graduated from Cuba High School.   On December 21, 1952, she was united in marriage to Frank J. Janousek, Jr. and to this union was born:  Douglas and Debra.

            Wilma worked at the ASC Office in Belleville, KS for over 10 years as an office clerk.   She later worked at the Belleville Telescope and then for several years at Intermountain Veterinary Supply in Belleville until her retirement, when she moved to Salina, Kansas with her husband, Frank.

            Wilma liked to crochet and embroidery for friends and family.   She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Anna Kasl; her husband Frank J. Janousek, Jr. in 2006; Brother, Don Kasl; Sister-In-Law, Barb Kasl; and 2 Brother-In-Laws, Charles Van Nortwick and Ben Free.

            Wilma is survived by one son, Doug (Becky) Janousek of Salina, Kansas; one daughter, Debbie (Kane) Gray of Marquette, Kansas;  5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren; one Sister, Shirley Free of Formoso, Kansas; Sister-In-Law, Anna Marie Van Nortwick of California; other relatives and friends.

            Private Graveside Services and interment will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, Kansas with Pastor Kathy Aeillo, officiating.

            Friends may call from 4 PM until 8 PM on Monday, April 6, 2020 at the
Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.

            Honorary Casketbearers will be Justin Hopp, Kevin Janousek, Jeremy Gray, Justin Gray, and Joe Pinsky.

            Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Salina or the Salina Presbyterian Manor.
