Obituary of Samuel O. Sanderson:

     Samuel Orville Sanderson, son of Dale F. Sanderson and Vera M. (Odell) Sanderson was born February 24, 1951 at Concordia, Kansas and passed away January 8, 2025 at his home in Scandia, Kansas at the age of 73.

     Samuel graduated from Scandia High School.

     He was a heavy equipment operator and retired in October 2024 after 35 years.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Vera Sanderson.

     He is survived by one sister, Yvette (Ron) Larson of Belleville, Kansas, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

     Funeral services will be held Two PM, Monday, January 13, 2025, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, Kansas, conducted by, Pastor Kathy Aeillo.

     Interment will be in Union Valley Cemetery, rural Belleville, Kansas.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Family Choice and sent in care of Yvette Larson.

     The casket will remain closed.

     Friends may call on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1 PM to 7 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas.
