RAELENE NICHOLE HENDERSON

Raelene Nichole Henderson the daughter of parents, Max E. and Vicki Henderson, Yvonne M. Cottenmyre, and Karen and Shawn Woolsey, was born on May 8th, 1984 in Belleville, KS and passed away on June 1st, 2020 at the age of 36 years and 24 days old in Colorado Springs, CO. 

Raelene grew up in Belleville and attended Belleville High School, the class of 2002. She later attended Cloud County Community College to pursue a degree in accounting, and while attending she worked in the bookstore on campus. Raelene has also worked as a C.N.A at local nursing homes, worked as a dispatcher for Republic County, worked as a receptionist at Scott Specialities in Belleville, worked in the kitchen of the Golden Bell Haven in Belleville, and worked as a hotel clerk in many hotels including Super 8, the Holiday Inn, and others

For the last few years, she made her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Raelene loved her children and family. She also loved social media, music, and being around people; especially those who loved her. 

Raelene was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Cottenmyre; nephew, Cayden Dunstan; grandfather, Robert E. Cottenmyre; and uncle Robert W. Cottenmyre.

Raelene is survived in death by her children, Trenton J. Zenger of Haddam, KS; Elora G. Henderson of Belleville, KS; Brock A. Henderson of Belleville, KS; parents, Max E. and Vicki Henderson of Belleville, KS; mother, Yvonne Cottenmyre; parents, Karen and Shawn Woolsey of Belleville, KS; grandparents, Don and Eilene Henderson of Belleville, KS; grandparents, Bob and Phillis Bottger of Belleville, KS; siblings, Sharla (Don) Gaskill of Wichita, KS; Crystal (Earl) Dunstan of Scandia, KS; Craig Henderson of Courtland, KS; Micheal L. Lewis; Brittany Henderson of Belleville, KS; Tess M. Woolsey of Belleville, KS; Brent M. (Harley) Lewis of Belleville, KS; step-sisters, April (Travis) Lyon of Clay Center, KS; Sandra (Shawn) Kling of Concordia, KS; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Cremation was selected and memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M on Saturday, June 27th, 2020 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, 1322 19th Street Belleville, KS.

Inurnment will follow at the Belleville Cemetery in Belleville, KS. 

The family will greet friends and family from 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 26th, 2020 at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Raelene Henderson Memorial and may be directed to the family.
