Obituary of Pearl Rhine

            Pearl Rhine, the daughter of Charles Nelson and Clara (Newberry) Nelson, was born June 29, 1930 in McCune, Kansas and passed away on March 4, 2025 at her home in Wichita, Kansas at age of 94.   She grew up and attended school in McCune.

            She was united in marriage to Verlin T. Rhine and to this union four children were born:  Joseph Vance, Jean Ellen, Thomas Verlin, and Douglas Ray.   The couple made their home on the family farm west of Haddam, Kansas.

            Pearl was a homemaker, farm wife, and avid gardener.   In later years, she resided in Wichita, Kansas.

            She was preceded in in death her husband, Verlin in 2007.

            Pearl is survived by her four children; 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

            Private interment was held at the Hawks Cemetery, rural Cuba, Kansas.

            The family kindly requests no gifts or flowers.     Condolences and prayers are welcomed.
