Obituary of Patricia M. Nielander        

            Patricia M. “Pat” Nielander, the daughter of Herbert Ross and Carol Eudora (Brindle) Ross Johnson, was born October 12, 1946 in Concordia, Kansas and passed away on February 14, 2023 at the Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, KS at the age of 76 years, 4 months, and 2 days.

            Pat grew up in the Courtland & Formoso, Kansas area, graduating from Courtland High School.     She was a waitress in restaurants in Pamona, Salina, and Belleville, Kansas at the Bel-villa and later was a Bail Bondsman in Glasco, Kansas.       Pat then worked for Scott Specialty’s for several years until her retirement.

            Pat was united in marriage to Virgil Kiedar Sidders, Sr and they were later divorced.

            On May 13, 1979, she was united in marriage to Wayne Nielander.  He preceded her in death on August 21, 2014.

            Pat enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; son, Kiedar “Sid” Sidders on April 15, 2015; grandson, Ryan Kiedar; and her sister, Barbara.

            Pat is survived by one daughter, Heather Burk, of Belleville, Kansas;  three grandsons, Dalton Burk of Henrietta, TX, Dustin Burk and Ryan Burk both of Belleville, KS;  3 great grandsons, Riley, Jasper, and Dawson; one sister, Laura Ross, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; other relatives, and friends.

            Cremation was selected and memorial services will be held at a later date with inurnment at Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Formoso, KS.

            Memorials may be given to the family.
