Margaret E. Nespor

Margaret Ethel Nespor, the daughter of Logan Stone and Maude (Hagan) Stone, was born February 14, 1917 at Haddam, KS and passed away on August 25, 2012 at Via Christie-Hope, Wichita, KS, at the age of 95 years, 6 months, and 11 days. Margaret grew up in Haddam, graduating from Haddam High School. Following her schooling, she taught in the country schools near Haddam, KS. She later worked at Lally's in Fairbury, NE, making coats and undergarments. Margaret then attended Joseph's Beauty School in Beatrice, NE and opened a Beauty Shop in her home at Morrowville, KS that she operated for several years. On February 14, 1938, at Washington, KS, she was united in marriage to Frank Nespor and to this union was born: Duane, Ron, Donna, and Roger. The couple made their home in Morrowville. Margaret resided in Morrowville for many years until she moved to Wichita in recent years to be near family. Margaret was a member of the Washington Christian Church, Washington, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Nespor, one grandchild, one great grandchild, two sisters: Josephine Graves and Esther Stone, and one brother: Francis Stone. Margaret is survived by three sons: Duane Nespor of Wichita, KS, Ron Nespor of Derby,KS, and Roger Nespor of Milford, NE; one daughter: Donna Nespor of Wichita, KS; one sister Ellen Patterson of Fairbury, NE, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Cremation was selected and memorial graveside services will be held at One PM, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Morrowville Cemetery, Morrowville, KS. Inurnment will follow the services. There will be no visitation, but friends can gather at the cemetery prior to the services. Memorials are suggested to Via Christie-Hope of Wichita, KS.
