Lisa S. Chaput

Lisa Suzanne Chaput, the daughter of Jack Joseph Jewell and Alice F. (Cady) Jewell, was born Dec. 23, 1961 at Carson City, NV and passed away on December 19, 2011 at the Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kansas at the age of 49 years, 11 months, and 26 days. Lisa graduated from Salina South High School, Salina, KS in 1980. She attended beauty school in Salina. On March 12, 1983, she was united in marriage to Tyler Chaput and to this union was born: Neal, Michael, and Sean. The couple has made their home in Miltonvale, KS for several years where Lisa was a homemaker. Lisa loved animals of all kinds, including: dogs, cats, and farm animals. She liked to crochet gifts for family and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her father Jack J. Jewell in 2010. She is survived by her husband Tyler Chaput of Miltonvale, KS; her mother Alice Jewell of Concordia, KS three sons: Neal Patrick Chaput (Sarah) of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Michael Chaput (Andrea) of Minneapolis, KS, and Sean Chaput of Miltonvale, KS; one brother Neal Jewell (Cindy) of Salina, KS; two grandchildren Haaken and Kaian; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Concordia Lutheran Church, Concordia, KS with Pastor David Strommen, officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, KS. Memorials are suggested to North Central Kansas Down's Syndrome Society.
