Linda J. (Bundy) Yardley

Linda Jean Yardley, 77, Gardner, Kansas passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at Advent Health Care, Shawnee, Kansas.  

Linda was born in Concordia, Kansas on June 14, 1946 to George Richard Bundy III and June Mary (Shotzman) Bundy.  After graduating from Salina Central High School, Linda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mary Mount College, Salina, Kansas. She was a schoolteacher.  Linda married Gary Yardley on February 15, 1969 in Chillicothe, Missouri.  She was a seamstress who enjoyed painting and crafts.  Linda enjoyed researching family history and playing cards and dominos with her friends.  Her favorite time was spent with her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and husband Gary. She is survived by her daughters: Karri Ann (Eric) Cody, Jennifer Jo Yardley and Roseann Schuman; son Michael Yardley; brother John Bundy; sisters: Kathryn Mary (Gary) Peterson, Cynthia Lynn (Randy) Oetting and Sandra Fern McClanahan; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, Kansas with interment to follow.

Friends may sign the register book prior to the graveside at the cemetery on Thursday.
