Harold O. Albin, son of Ernest L. Albin and Myrtle H. Goss Albin was born May 12, 1917 at Gove, Kansas and passed away on September 17, 2011 at Republic County Long Term Care, Belleville, Ks at the age of 94 years, 4 months and 5 days. Harold graduated from Quinter High School, attended McPherson College and Washburn University. He served with the Army Air Corps during World War Two, serving in New Guinea, Southern Philippines, Luzon. He was united in marriage to Dorothy E. Birt on July 13, 1946 and to this union three sons were born, Keith, Loren, Ken. They owned and operated the Gambles Store in Belleville, Ks from 1960 - 1985. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ernest and Myrtle Albin, Wife, Dorothy E. Albin, five brothers, Glen, Lester, Roy, Marvin, Ralph, four sisters, Alta, Elsie, Rachael, Pearl. He is survived by three sons, Keith Albin of Portland, Oregon, Loren Albin of St. Paul, Minnesota, Ken Albin of Austin, Texas, seven grandchildren, five great grand children, two brothers, Donald Albin of Quinter, Ks, Eugene Albin of Quinter, Ks, one sister, Lois Riggs of Medford, Oregon.
