Obituary of Garnett Rhine: Garnett Rhine, daughter of Forrest (Fuzz) Kennedy and Viola (Delay) Kennedy was born February 19, 1921 at Coyle, Oklahoma and passed away on November 9, 2017 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, KS at the age of 96 years, 8 months and 20 days. She was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Rhine on August 12, 1947 She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Haddam, KS, Kansas Czech Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth, one son, one granddaughter, one son in law, two brothers, three sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Susan (David) Peltier of Concordia, KS, Linda (JD) Friess of Neodesha, KS, one step daughter, Carol (Bob) Norris of McPherson, KS, five grandchildren, Kendra (Don) Kuchta of McPherson, KS, Karla Barnhart of Salina, KS, Dana (Sherry) Peterson of Johnson Lake, NE, Misty (Travis) Kier of Washington, KS, Traci (Brian) Livingston of Reynolds, NE, eleven great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, two sisters, Gertrude Ryser of Cheyenne Wells, CO, Katie Bell Burleson of El Paso, TX, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM. Monday, November 13, 2017, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS, conducted by, Pastor Randy Jellison-Knock. Interment will be in Haddam Cemetery, Haddam, KS Memorials may be given to Family Choice.
