Obituary of Edwin E. Wilson

            Edwin E. Wilson, the son of Charles Edwin Wilson and Mary (Cosano) Wilson, was born April 11, 1939 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on August 10, 2023 at Republic County Hospital at the age of 84 years, 3 months, and 29 days.

            Edwin grew up and attended school in Morrow County Oregon.    After his schooling, he was drafted and served with United States Army for two years       He then was a truck driver in logging and coal transportation, and also work with housing construction all in the Washington and Oregon State area.    His C.B. handle was “Fast Eddy” as he was known among his fellow truckers and friends.

            Edwin retired in 2016 and moved to Belleville, KS to be near family.

            He was united in marriage to Vivian E. Monroe and she preceded him in death in 1997.     

            Edwin also was preceded in death by his daughters, Lynette Wilson and Sheri Wilson.

            Edwin is survived by one son, Adam Wilson of Belleville, KS;  one daughter Angie (Jim) Ludacka, of Scandia, KS; 10 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren; one brother, Bob Wilson of Arizona, and one sister,  Virginia Rodgers of Oregon; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

            Cremation was selected and private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
