Obituary of Donald Dean “Donnie” Scrivner
Donald Dean “Donnie” Scrivner, the son of Marvin LeRoy Scrivner and Betty Ardella (Everhart) Scrivner, was born February 13, 1959 in Belleville, Kansas and passed away on January 24, 2022 at Concordia, Kansas at the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 11 days.
Don lived with his parents in his younger years, later moving to K.N.I in Topeka, Kansas where he lived for several years. In 1995, Don moved to Concordia, Kansas and lived and worked with the OCCK and was living there at the time of his passing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Catherine Scrivner, and Harold & Olive Everhart; his parents, Marvin and Betty Scrivner, and his oldest brother, Garry Scrivner.
Don is survived by his brothers and sisters: Roxanna (Robert) Demanett of Concordia, Kansas, Tina (Donald) Henderson of Talmage, Kansas, Marvin “Buddy” Scrivner of Oklahoma, Robert (Marge) Scrivner of Americus, Kansas, Scott (Crystal) Scrivner of Oklahoma, and Harold Scrivner; 13 nieces and nephews: Jace (Kelsey) Demanett, Christy Demanett, Danielle Damanett, Brandon (Jessica) Henderson, Ashley (Chris) Prescher, Kassie Scrivner, Christopher (Destiny) Scrivner, Natasha (Shane) Swanson, Jucinda Scrivner, Joshua Scrivner, Nate Scrivner, Alex Scrivner, Austin Scrivner; other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS with Pastor Sandra Jellison-Knock, officiating.
Interment will be at the Poplar Grove Cemetery, rural Belleville, Kansas.
Friends may call from 1 PM until 8 PM on Thursday, January 27th at the funeral home.
