Obituary of Diana L. Kinzie

            Diana Lynn Kinzie, the daughter of Clifford Weaver and Faye (Bullen) Weaver, was born April 1, 1952 in Belleville, Kansas and passed away on February 12, 2026 at the Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS at the age of 73.

            Diana grew up and attended school in Belleville, later receiving her GED.    Following her schooling, she worked at the Heartland Care Center in Belleville in the laundry section for a time.   She then worked at MC Industries in Belleville for 20 plus years.

            Diana received her Certified Medical Aid training (CMA) and began work at Blue Valley Nursing Home in Hebron, NE.  She moved to Salina in July of 2017, working for OCCK as a Home Health Aid until her retirement.

            On July 26, 1970, she was united in marriage to Larry Beeson and to this union a daughter, Alisia was born.   The couple lived in Belleville, KS for many years and were later divorced.

            She later was married to Dennis Kinzie and he survives.

            Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford & Faye Weaver; and nieces and nephews.

            She is survived by her daughter,  Alisia (John) Hood of Salina, KS;  husband, Dennis Kinzie of Belleville, KS;   sisters, Donna Tuma of Belleville, KS,  Mary Ann (Jan) Bartz of Lawrence, KS, Frances Weaver of Salina, KS, Ann (Randy) Lewellyn, and Candy (Carl) Sanford both of Belleville, KS;  brothers,  Delbert Weaver of Salina, KS and Rick Weaver of Carl Junction, MO;  nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS with Pastor Seth Follmer, officiating.   

            Friends may sign the register book and greet the family from 1:00 PM until service time prior to the services on Saturday.

            Inurnment will follow at the Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, KS.

            Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Bachelor-Surber, P.O. Box 326, Belleville, KS 66935.
