Dale Pressnall Obituary

Dale Pressnall, the son of M. Luther Pressnall and Savillah (Fisher) Pressnall, was born April 17, 1916 on the family farm near Munden, KS and passed away on January 19, 2012 at the Republic County Hospital at the age of 95 years, 9 months and 2 days. Dale attended the local public schools, graduating from Belleville High School in 1934. He farmed on the family farm in the Rose Creek area near Munden his entire life, retiring from farming in 1980 and moving to Belleville. On September 8, 1974, he was united in marriage to Bertrude Gillette. Dale attended the Munden Methodist Church and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Belleville. He was a 25 year member of the Oddfellows, and a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bertrude on Feb. 17, 2005, step-son: Orville Gillette, four sisters: Ollie Mosier, Mildred Davenport, Lois Mulch, and Orpha Pressnall. Dale is survived by his sister Gyneth Horak of Belleville, KS: three step children: Roberta Dalsing of Pueblo West, CO, Larry (Elizabeth) Gillette of Tipton, KS, and Janice (Larry) Koll of Marysville, KS; ten step grandchildren, and 36 step great grandchildren; one niece Glenda Mosier of Tempe, AZ; two nephews: Dwight (Evelyn) Mosier of Centennial, CO and Kevin Mulch of Sacramento, CA. ; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, with Pastor John Lewis, officiating. Interment will follow at the Belleville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1PM until 9 PM on Friday and after 9 AM on Saturday. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church.
