Charles V. Heina, son of John Heina and Frances (Havel) Heina was born January 19, 1915 at rural Cuba, Kansas and passed away on December 28, 2011 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, KS., at the age of 96 years, 11 months and 9 days. He graduated from Haddam High School. He was united in marriage to LeEnora L. Klaumann on August 12, 1940 and to this union two children were born, Louise and Steven. He was a retired Grain Elevator manager. He is a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church of Cuba, KS., Knights of Columbus, Republic County Czech Club, Western Fraternal Lodge Association He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Frances Heina, one grandson, Nicholas Kieffer, two brothers, Ernest and Edward Heina. He is survived by his wife, LeEnora L. Heina of Belleville, KS., one son, Fr. Steven Heina of Ellsworth, KS., one daughter, Louise Kieffer and her husband Michael of Jacksonville, Arkansas, one granddaughter, Kimberly Kay and her husband Jesse of Lowell, Arkansas, two sisters, Bessie Holechek of Concordia, KS., Blanche Kauer of Omaha, Nebraska, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Ten Thirty AM, Monday, January 2, 2012, St. Edward's Catholic Church, Belleville, Kansas, conducted by, Fr. Steven Heina Vigil/Rosary service will be Seven PM, Sunday, January 1, 2012, Bachelor-Surber Chapel, Belleville, Kansas and following the Vigil/Rosary service there will be a time of Memory Sharing. Interment will be made in St. Isidore's Catholic Cemetery, Cuba, Kansas. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. Isidore's Catholic Cemetery or Cuba Fire Department and they may be sent in care of Louise Kieffer 3 Valewood Cove, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.
