C. David Cantrell

C. David Cantrell, was born August 24, 1951 and passed away on October 30, 2012 at Halfway, MO at the age of 61 years, 2 months, and 6 days. David was a veteran, serving with the US Air Force for one tour in Vietnam and then serving with the US Army for two more tours in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge, he returned to the Springfield, MO area. David was a truck driver for many years with the Daniels Trucking Company in Springfield and later work in a manufacturing plant in Ozark, MO for several years. He was united in marriage to Paula Sue Fry on September 3, 1995. The couple made their home in Nixa, MO for several years and then moved to Halfway, Missouri in 2006. She preceded him in death on October 10, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Paula. David is survived by his mother-in-law: Pauline Fry of Belleville, KS, one nephew Eric Cantrell of Nixa, MO, other relatives and friends. Cremation was selected and memorial services were held at 10:30 AM, Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel with Dr. M. Rex Fuller, officiating. Inurnment followed at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hebron, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to family choice.
