Betty I. Trzicky

Betty I. Trzicky, daughter of Kenneth Mulch and Hazel (McNeil) Mulch was born March 14, 1928 at Munden, Kansas and passed away on January 3, 2012 at Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, Kansas at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 19 days. She graduated from Munden High School in 1946. She was united in marriage to Henry J. Trzicky on June 2, 1946 and to this union two daughters were born, Deborah and Colleen. She worked at the Munden Post office for 33 years starting as a clerk and served as Postmaster of the Munden Post Office for 22 years until her retirement on August 31, 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Hazel Mulch, husband, Henry J. Trzicky, one step granddaughter, two sisters, Georgia Snyder and Dixie Hoyt. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Dreiling and husband Harry of Hays, Kansas, Colleen Strnad and husband Vic of Lawrence, Kansas, two granddaughters, one great granddaughter, one great great grandson, two step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, one step great great grandchild, one brother, Ken Mulch and his wife Wilma of Belleville, Kansas, one brother in law, Richard Hoyt of Manhattan, Kansas, one sister in law, Lorena Trzicky of Belleville, Kansas, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Eleven AM, Friday, January 6, 2012, Zion Evangelical Church, Munden, Kansas, conducted by, Pastor Harvey Farnsworth. Interment will be made in Tabor Cemetery, rural Munden, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Zion Evangelical Church, Munden, Kansas.
