Obituary of Arlene O. Baloun: Arlene Odessa Baloun, daughter of Emil Mohr and Katherine M. (Stroh) Mohr was born February 9, 1925 at Chester, Nebraska and passed away on December 28, 2017 at Belleville, Kansas at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 19 days. Arlene attended Chester Public Schools and graduated from Chester High School. She was united in marriage to Herman G. Baloun on January 2, 1945. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Belleville, KS, she was a former member of the F.O.E. Auxiliary #3281, Belleville, KS and Women of the Moose #1278 of Concordia, KS. She was a long time employee and member of the staff of the Peoples National Bank of Belleville, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Katherine Mohr, husband, Herman G. Baloun, six brothers, Leo Mohr, Don Mohr, Earl Mohr, Kenneth Mohr, George Mohr, Edward Mohr, three sisters, Frieda Mohr, Dorothy Pearl Mohr, Mary E. Saint. She is survived by one brother, Carl Mohr of McCook, Nebraska, one sister, Birdene Neuteboom of Kearns, Utah, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Ten Thirty AM, Saturday, January 6, 2018, First United Methodist Church, Belleville, Kansas, conducted by, Rev. Emily Meckley. Interment will be in Chester Cemetery, Chester, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church, Belleville, KS.
