Arlen L. Lunzmann

Obituary of Arlen L. Lunzmann:

     Arlen L. Lunzmann, son of John Lunzmann and Edna (Peters) Lunzmann was born November 16, 1933 at Byron, Nebraska and passed away on January 3, 2022 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas at the age of 88.

     Arlen grew up in rural Byron, Nebraska and attended school in the Byron school district. He was confirmed on June 20, 1948 by Pastor Krouse.  He was a life long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, rural Byron, Nebraska.   He assisted his parents in the farm operation in his early years.  Later he farmed the family farm and was a lifetime farmer/stockman in the Byron community.

     His memory verse was Psalm 26-8,  Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

     Arlen was united in marriage to Ines Duensing on June 18, 1972 at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Nebraska.  The couple enjoyed playing cards and going on trips.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Lunzmann, two brothers, Raymond Lunzmann and Norman Lunzmann, one sister in law, Rosella Lunzmann.

     He is survived by his wife, Ines Lunzmann of Byron, Nebraska, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

     Funeral services will be held Two PM, Monday, January 10, 2022 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Rural Byron, Nebraska, conducted by Irvin Schleufer PMA

     Interment will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, rural Byron, Nebraska.

     Memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Byron, Nebraska

     Friends may call on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 1 PM to 8 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas.
