Albert Bingham Obituary

Albert Sidney Bingham, son of John H. Bingham and Anna M. (Wright) Bingham was born March 19, 1918 at rural Belleville, Kansas and passed away on May 6, 2012 at Republic County Long Term Care, Belleville, Kansas at the age of 94 years, 1 month and 27 days. Albert served with the Civilian Conservation Corps from April 14, 1936 to March 11, 1938. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War Two from December 30, 1943 to January 6, 1946. He was united in marriage to Olive E. Kelly on March 6, 1939 and to this union one son, John L. Bingham was born. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Anna M. Bingham, wife, Olive E. Bingham, four brothers and six sisters. He is survived by one son, John L. Bingham and his wife Judy of Mankato, Ks., sister in law, Maxine Erickson of Belleville, Ks., nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Ten Thirty AM, Thursday, May 10, 2012, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, Ks, conducted by, Pastor Mark McGregor. Interment will be in Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, Ks. Military Graveside Services by U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Memorials may be given to Republic County Long Term Care Physical Fitness Department.
